UTECH Europe 2015 was held at the MECC in Maastricht, The Netherlands 14th – 16th April and is the leading international event for the polyurethanes industry. The exhibition attracted 190 exhibiting companies, just over 3,500 decision makers from 86 countries. The event, comprising a strategic conference and international exhibition was bigger and busier than ever.

BCI was once again present at Utech Europe, this year with a bigger stand and stronger presence. The team representing BCI displayed our new products and mainly focused on presenting our new line of aromatic and aliphatic polyesters.

The Conference held at UTECH was designed to give attendees a competitive edge through presentations about key themes affecting the polyurethane industry in 2015 and beyond. Our chairman Hassane Baalbaki was designated to present his ideas and views about the Outlook for the PU industry in the Middle East. Hassan gave a 20 minutes speech presenting his views about trading conditions in the Middle East and North Africa, mainly explaining how the political upheaval in the region is affecting business and explaining the unusual opportunities in this part of the world.
