Hassane Baalbaki

Executive Chairman & Managing Director

Hassane has been with the Group since 1990 and currently serves as Executive Chairman of BCI Holding SA. Hassane has a BA in Economics from the American University of Beirut (1990) and has attended executive education courses at INSEAD, HBS and LBS.

Karim Baalbaki

Vice Chairman & Managing Director

Karim has been with the Group since 1997. Karim currently serves as Group Managing Director and Chairman and Managing Director of BCI-Egypt SAE. Karim has an MBA with distinction from INSEAD (2003) and a BBA from the American University of Beirut (1997). Karim has attended executive education courses at Stanford University, HBS and LBS.

Marwan Kawas

Managing Director Flexible Packaging Adhesives Business Unit

Marwan has been with the Group since 2009 and currently serves as the Managing Director Flexible Packaging Adhesives Business Unit. Between 2004-2009, Marwan was the CEO of ChemOrbis MENA, a plastics consultancy firm. From 1999-2004, Marwan was the Managing Partner of Marexx the exclusive representative of Exxon Mobil in the Middle East. Between 1984-1999 Marwan held various senior management positions with Exxon Chemicals. Marwan has a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Hamburg University and has attended executive education courses at IMD and INSEAD.

Mumtaz Misrabi

Managing Director, Footwear Business Unit

Mumtaz has been with the Group since 1992. He was appointed as General Manager of BCI-Egypt SAE in 2009 and Deputy Managing Director in 2013. Mumtaz also serves as a member of the board of directors of BCI Egypt SAE since 2014. He has a BS in chemistry from the Damascus university and has attended executive education courses at the American University of Beirut.

Khaled Khayat

Managing Director, BCI Arabia, KSA

Khaled has been with the Group since 1996 and currently serves as the Commercial Director Business Development & Key Accounts. Between 2008 and 2015 Khaled was the General Manager of BCI-Gulf's polyurethane system house. Khaled has a BS in chemistry from the Beirut Arab University and has attended executive education courses at the American University of Beirut.

Wassim Bawab

Managing Director, BCI UAE

Wassim has been with the Group since 2010 and currently serves as the Managing Director of the Baalbaki Group S.A in UAE. Between 2004 and 2009, Wassim was an assistant manager for assurance services at PwC Beirut office and a lecturer at the American University of Beirut. Wassim has a CPA license from the New Hampshire Board of Accountancy, USA, as well as an MBA and a BBA from American University of Beirut. He has attended Executive education courses at the Amsterdam Institute of Finance and American University of Beirut.

Ahmad Baalbaki

Managing Director, BCI Egypt

Ahmad has been with the Group since 2010 and currently serves as Director of Group Supply Chain, Business Planning & Control. Between 2006-2009 Ahmad held several senior finance positions with BS Holding. Ahmad has an MBA and BBA from the Lebanese American University.

Abdallah Makhoul

Group Senior Manager – Community and Culture

Abdallah joined the Group in 2016 and currently holds the position of the Group Senior Manager — Community and Culture - at BCI Beirut. Prior to joining the Group, Abdallah worked for an HR consultancy firm, Angus Knight Group in Australia, holding the position of Business Manager. Abdallah holds a bachelor’s degree in HR from Sydney University.

Karim Shalaby

Senior Manager - Group Business Planning and Control

Karim has been with the Group since 2014 and currently serves as Senior Manager, Group Business Planning and Control. Karim held several senior finance positions with BCI Holding. Prior to joining the Group, Karim worked at Pirelli, holding the position of accounting manager. Karim holds a B.COM and a BBA focused in Accounting and Finance from Cairo University.

Khairy Mohammed

Commercial Manager - Coatings and Esters business unit - BCI UAE

Khairy joined the Group in 2021 as a Commercial Manager. Prior to joining the group Khairy worked as a Business Development and Sales Manager at IFFCO CHEMICALS FZE . Khairy holds a B.S in Special Chemistry from Zagazig University in Egypt .Khairy has an MBA from RB College in Egypt.

Hadi Najjar

Group Senior Finance Manager

Hadi has been with the Group since 2010 and serves as Head of Accounting. Prior to joining BCI, he worked as Chief Accountant at Centre Taanayel Sarl where he spent three years of his career . Hadi has a BS Degree in Banking and Finance from the Lebanese University.

Muaz Al Akkad

Executive Manager Admin & Supply Chain – BCI KSA

Muaz has been with the Group since 2023 as Executive Manager of Administration & Supply Chain. Prior to joining the Group, Muaz worked as Group Legal Advisor at Alhamzah Law Firm. Muaz holds a BA Degree in Law.

Nour Jallad

Operational Manager – BCI Turkey

Nour is with the Group since 2006 as a Sales and Technical Service Executive. Nour has a BA Degree in Applied Chemistry.
Nour has attended Executive Education Courses in Finance, Accounting, and Management.

Rania Al-Bahi

Head of Trade Finance BCI Group

Rania is with the Group since 1999 as an Order-Processing Executive. Prior to joining the Group, Rania worked at Business Link where she spent three years of her career. Rania has a BA Degree in English Literature from the Lebanese University

Rula Jubayli

Business Development Manager

Rula joined the Group in 2012 and currently serves as the Head of Business Development. Rula has a BS Degree in Marketing and Management from the Lebanese American University.

Bachir Frem

Senior Procurement Manager

Bachir has been with the group since 2014 and currently serves as Senior Procurement Manager. Bachir held various procurement positions at BCI. Prior to joining BCI, Bachir worked at Mitsubishi Electric as a Procurement and Logistics Executive . Bachir holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Management and supply chain from Sagesse University.

Sherif Zacca

Managing Director – BCI Nigeria West Africa – Lamination Rigid RF and Others

Sherif joined the Group in 2021 and is working as the Managing Director of BCI Nigeria. Before joining Baalbaki Chemical Industries he hold the position as General Manager at ATIC Manufacturing Cosmetics Limited – Nigeria where he spent eight years of his career.He has a Bachelor of Business Administration (Banking & Finance) from the LAU.
